Within the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA®), the Oklahoma Medal of Merit is a state-level award used to recognize members who have demonstrated exceptional service and dedication to the association’s mission through the lens of the Organizational Objectives listed in our Bylaws.
Outstanding Service: It is typically awarded to members (Full, Support, or Auxiliary) who go above and beyond their standard duties to support Oklahoma chapters or the veteran community at large.
Mission Impact: Recognition often stems from significant contributions to charity events, veteran assistance programs, or leadership that strengthens the bond within the Oklahoma CVMA® community.
Meritorious Conduct: Similar to a military "Commendation" or "Achievement" medal, it serves as a formal acknowledgment of a member’s "merit" and hard work that may not meet the threshold for a National-level award but is significant to the State of Oklahoma.
Awarding will take place at the annual State Rally, however nominations can be made between the months of June through March of the following year. For further details and criteria, see the form below.
